INGREDIENTS:
1-2 lbs chicken wings
1/2 c. Big Mama's Chili Lime BBQ Sauce
2 tbsp. tequila
1 tbsp. Triple Sec
1 tbsp. orange juice
1 tbsp. honey
2 tsp. lime juice
1 tbsp. cilantro, chopped (optional)
Zest of 1 large lime (or 2 small)
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a bowl, combine Big Mama’s Chili Lime BBQ sauce, tequila, triple sec, orange juice, honey, lime juice, cilantro and lime zest to make a marinade.
In a plastic bag, combine 1/2 of marinade and chicken wings. Allow to marinate in fridge overnight. Reserve other 1/2 of marinade for later.
Pre-heat oven or grill. Cook chicken until juices run clear (minimum internal temperature of 165°F).
Toss cooked chicken in remaining marinade. Serve topped with fresh chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
