INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-2 lbs chicken wings

  • 1/2 c. Big Mama's Chili Lime BBQ Sauce

  • 2 tbsp. tequila

  • 1 tbsp. Triple Sec

  • 1 tbsp. orange juice

  • 1 tbsp. honey

  • 2 tsp. lime juice

  • 1 tbsp. cilantro, chopped (optional)

  • Zest of 1 large lime (or 2 small)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a bowl, combine Big Mama’s Chili Lime BBQ sauce, tequila, triple sec, orange juice, honey, lime juice, cilantro and lime zest to make a marinade.

  2. In a plastic bag, combine 1/2 of marinade and chicken wings. Allow to marinate in fridge overnight. Reserve other 1/2 of marinade for later.

  3. Pre-heat oven or grill. Cook chicken until juices run clear (minimum internal temperature of 165°F).

  4. Toss cooked chicken in remaining marinade. Serve topped with fresh chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime.
